Lina N. Aumage

Lina N. Aumage, 94, died suddenly at her home in Brown County on August 6th, 2021. She was born Amélina Noémi Michaud on September 18, 1926 in Montségur-Sur-Lauzon, France.
She married Remy P. Aumage on October 30, 1948. After years of living through the effects of WWII, they moved to Indianapolis in 1956. Lina worked for 35 years at the RCA Electronics factory in Indianapolis. In 1987 she and Remy moved to Brown County, Indiana to be near to be near John, Angie, and their 3 grandsons. Lina volunteered (with Remy) at the Saint Vincent de Paul food pantry here in Brown County for over 20 years. She attended St. Agnes Catholic Church in Nashville.
Lina was a devoted, loving, and helpful wife, Mom, and Mémé. She is loved and missed. Lina is survived by Remy, son John (born Jean-Francois) and his wife Angie, grandsons Nathaniel (Angela Battaglino), Zach (Sarah), Nick, 4 great-grandchildren, 1 nephew in the USA and 15 nephews and nieces in France.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Nashville, Indiana at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday August 17, 2021 with visiting prior to mass from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Bond-Mitchell Funeral Home in Nashville, is handling the funeral arrangements.
Flowers may be sent to the church that morning. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. Vincent de Paul, Brown County; P. O. Box 577; Nashville, IN 47448, or to a charity of your choice.
