A check for $3,000 was recently presented to the Brown County Community Foundation for the Chuck & Will Kirlin Endowment.
Bob Kirlin presented the check to BCCF Executive Director Maddison Miller.
The donation was raised from the annual Will Kirlin Golf Outing recently held at the Salt Creek Golf Retreat, with all profits going to Chuck’s Endowment with the foundation.
The purpose of the Chuck & Will Kirlin Fund is to support Brown County elementary school children through special projects or events.
Annual disbursement from this fund will go to elementary school teachers for special projects during the year. For more information, call BCCF at 812-988-4882
The Chuck & Will Kirlin Fund was established in memory of Chuck Kirlin, a teacher at Van Buren and Helmsburg elementaries. He died in 2016 at age 36 after battling a brain tumor.
