Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6195 Commander Don Birden accepted the All-American Team award from District 9 VFW Commander Marshall Havens during the district meeting on Nov. 21 in Milan.

The Nashville Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6195 recently received an award for meeting national requirements and quotas.

VFW Post 6195 received the “All-American Team” award for 2020-2021 by meeting all the program requirements set by the national VFW. This includes meeting membership quotas, exemplifying “exceptional leadership and teamwork,” volunteering community service hours and more, according to VFW Senior Vice Commander Bill Hamilton.

This is the first time VFW Post 6195 has received the All-American award.
