Linda Irene Stockdale, 80, passed from this life at 3:35 p.m. Friday, Dec. 31, 2021, at Homeview Health & Rehabilitation in Franklin.
Linda was born Nov. 10, 1941, in Columbus, the daughter of James Isaac and Mildred K. Blair Tungett.
She retired from Cummins Engine Company and was a former member of Moose Lodge in Florida.
Survivors include her sons, Forrest Lee (Karen) Wade of Burns City and Lindsay (Vicki) Wade of Nashville; 8 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren and 2 stepsons.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a stepson, Richard Stockdale; half-brother, J.C. Tungett and a half-sister, Martha Berg.
The funeral will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 6 at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Jonathan Moore Pike with Larry Duncan officiating.
Family and friends may call from 10 a.m. to time of service.
Burial will be at Daughtery Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Brown County Humane Society.
