COLUMBUS — Local students were recently named to the fall 2021 dean’s list at Indiana University-Purdue University Columbus:
Morgantown: Paxton A. Henderson and Kurstin M. Thompson
Nashville: Aidan M. Burt, Evan T. Fleischman, Brittany N. Gholston, Charleton M. Jackson, Hannah Kaeleigh
Nineveh: Darion N. Buckner
To qualify for the honor, students must attain a grade-point average of at least 3.70 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
Ball State dean’s list
MUNCIE — The following local students were recently named to the fall 2021 dean’s list at Ball State University:
Morgantown: Alisha Griffith
Nashville: Grace Baughman, Olivia Baughman, Abigail Hollander, Aubrey Hollander, Francesca Mata, Katianna Richardson, Kami Thalls
Nineveh: Elijah Deweerdt, Jordan Watson
Students must earn at least a 3.5 grade-point average for 12 or more credits of graded course work during a semester to earn a spot on the dean’s list.

MUNCIE — Nashville resident Kami Thalls was named to Ball State University’s Top 100 Students list for the 2021 fall semester. The award recognizes 100 outstanding junior and senior undergraduates who represent the spirit of “Beneficence,” Ball State’s institutional statue and icon that symbolizes the generosity of the five Ball brothers who donated the land that the university rests on.
