Leary Stefanie V. Binkley Gore

Leary Stefanie V. Binkley Gore, 78 passed away peacefully Saturday, March 5 at her home in Nashville. She was born Oct. 12, 1943 in Ventura, California to Leary Weeks Binkley and Virginia L. Keplinger Binkley.
Stefanie graduated from Tipp City High School in Ohio and business school in Dayton. She later enrolled at the University of Cincinnati where she studied for two years. She left school for several years to establish Binkley-Gore Associates, Inc. with her husband Stephen where they worked together for 30 years. She eventually returned to finish her degree at IU.
She married Stephen W. Gore in 1982 and they had 39 happy years together. Stefanie is survived by her husband Stephen, sister Carole (Paul) of Carmel, IN, brother John of Tipp City, OH, nieces Lydia (Chris) of Menlo Park, CA, Amanda of Colorado Springs, CO, Jessica (Eric) of Westfield, IN, step sons Bryan and Kevin (Lisa) Gore of Nashville, three grandchildren, Kaya, Sawyer and Josslin Gore of Columbus and numerous cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Stefanie radiated warmth and love wherever she was and could make a stranger feel like a best friend in just a few minutes. She was a magnet for cats, dogs and lost souls as well. She enjoyed caring for her house plants, attending IU opera, dance and drama productions and volunteering at the Brown County Public Library. She served with the Brown County ARC as secretary/treasurer for over 40 years.
A celebration of Stefanie’s life is planned for April 17, 2022 from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Out Of The Ordinary Restaurant in Nashville.
