Beginning this week you can take a stroll through Nashville on a Friday evening each month, see what local artisans have created and learn how to make art yourself.

The 2022 season of the Fourth Friday Art Walk will kick off on April 22 in the Village of Nashville from 4 to 7 p.m. Many activities and programs, including scavenger hunts, make and takes, demonstrations and music will be available to enjoy the fourth Friday of each month through October.

Weed Patch Music Company, 58 E. Main St., will host a demonstration and talk with gourd ukulele builder Ron Luginbill as part of the Fourth Friday Art Walk. The 2022 season kicks off this week. Submitted

In conjunction with the Art Walk, the Brown County Playhouse, 70 S. Van Buren St., will host a free Fourth Friday Festival that will include musical entertainment and viewing of the Artist Associates of Brown County Indiana Gallery located in the Playhouse.

Artist demonstrations, make and take activities and wine tasting will be available at the following galleries in Nashville until October: Hoosier Artist Gallery, Hereshome Studio, Jeff Hagen Studio, B3 Gallery, Ascension Fine Arts, Antique Alley shops, Brown County Craft Gallery, Weed Patch Music Company, AABC at the Playhouse, Brown County Art Guild and Moonshine Leather

The Hoosier Art Gallery, 45 S. Jefferson St., will host a pottery throwing demonstration by local potter Dylan Quackenbush, and guitar music by Ginnvor Bullard on April 22 as part of the Fourth Friday Art Walk. The 2022 season kicks off this week. Submitted

The Brown County Art Guild, 48 S. Van Buren St., will host the Musical Time series featuring eight Indiana University Jacob School of Music piano students performing at 5 p.m.

Most venues will host receptions and wine tastings on Fourth Friday Art Walks through October.
