Janet Kramer

Janet D. Kramer, 87, passed away Nov. 7, 2022 At home surround by her children.
Janet was born July 26, 1935 in Ames, Iowa, daughter, of John Kenneth and Clara (Cue) Linder. She married Darrel E Kramer in 1954 after 13 years as a military wife and 10 more moving around to eight states and countries we settle down in beautiful Brown County after 62 years of a wonderful and fun life together Darrel passed away in 2017. She and Darrel either lived in or visited all 50 states and Janet fulfilled a desire to walk across the Brooklyn Bridge in New York.
Janet owned the unique Sunny Afternoons shop in Antique Alley for 17 years. She was a long time member of League of Women, Voters, Friends of the Brown County State Park, Friends of the Library, Cedar Hills Homemakers, Walking Women and volunteered for many more.
She is survived by her son, Jason A. Kramer of Brown County and daughters Jennilea K. (John) Lindahl, Coatesville, Indiana Darla J. (Jim) Gilleland, Centerville, Ohio and Jerrilyn K. (Mickey) Kean Bloomington, Indiana, including 6 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren. Brother John D. (Linda) Linder, Colorado Springs, Colorado. and sister Judy D. Paulsen, Omaha, Nebraska.
Her values were her love for family and friends, and the Golden Rule was her touchstones.
She love the outdoors, books, and crosswords her home and her family. What a Wonderful World was her favorite song, and she hopes it will still be a wonderful world for her great grandchildren and generations to come.
