Medeice Nira Marshall, age 89, of Nashville, Indiana passed away Sunday, May 7, 2023 at the Brown County Health and Living Center in Nashville. Born October 4, 1933 in Indianapolis, she was the daughter of William Gaylord Stevens and Lela (Terhune) Stevens Morgan. Medeice worked in several retail shops in the town of Nashville throughout her working life.
Medeice is survived by her son, Marc (Vickie) Marshall, of Nashville, her daughter, Brenda Leggins, of Nashville; two sisters, Carolyn Hamm, of Bloomington and Wynoka Doughty, of Indianapolis; five grandchildren, Ian Marshall, Krista Marshall, Kara McFall, Michael Leggins and Katie Leggins and four great-grandchildren, Nolan McFall, Graham McFall, Finley McFall and Stanley Leggins.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her loving husband, Donald Lee Marshall.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 11 at 2:00 p.m. at Greenlawn Cemetery in Nashville. Burial will follow the service.
The family suggests memorial contributions to the Brown County Humane Association.
