A Circle of Subversion at By Hand Gallery will feature the work of family members Sarah, David, Chelsea, Leslie, Sarabeth and Theodore / Teddy Noggle. The exhibit will open with a Gallery Walk Reception on Friday, July 7 from 5–8 p.m.

The Noggle family work in a variety of media, each with their own specialty. David crafts functional objects in wood. Sarah is a weaver, spinner, knitter and textile conservationist. Chelsea is an interior designer who also produces 2D pencil, paint and mixed media work. Leslie is an architectural designer, excelling in custom homes and creative additions and renovations. She also produces framed art. Sarabeth is a printmaker who sets all her type — metal and movable— the old-fashioned, Johannes Gutenberg way, by hand. She will have her etchings on display. Theodore / Teddy produces three dimensional wood and metal mixed media.

By Hand Gallery is a locally owned, cooperative gallery that currently has 12 artisan members.
