Hope for Hearts Farm grateful to the Brown County Community Foundation

Hope for Hearts Farm is grateful to the Brown County Community Foundation for their most recent 2023 grant in support of our work. Through the generosity of the Brown County Community Foundation, Hope for Hearts Farm was able to provide session scholarships for our Hope for Hearts Program the last several months for residents of Brown County.

By partnering with horses, these Brown County residents learned life and leadership skills to assist them in improving their communication, relationships, and leadership skills, setting healthy boundaries, regulating emotions, and improving their self-confidence.

The remaining support provided the opportunity for five Brown County girls (ages 13 and 14) from Living with Purpose Ministry to attend Hope for Hearts Farm’s Free To Be Me program. This was a one-day retreat for adolescent girls to learn through fun, interactive activities with the horses about self-confidence, body changes, modesty, abstinence from drugs and alcohol, responsible use of technology and social media, how to handle peer pressure, and how to respond appropriately when they make mistakes.

The Brown County Community Foundation has our sincere thanks for helping us change the lives of Brown County residents by leaving hoof-prints of hope on every heart we touch! This would not be possible without donor support.

Hope for Hearts Farm is a 501c3, non-profit, Equine-assisted Learning program whose mission is to provide opportunities for the transforming power of horses to strengthen and develop the lives of individuals and teams. We believe the personal and professional growth gained through these unique experiences results in improved life and leadership skills, ultimately contributing to stronger communities.
