Vicki Lynne Walls, 70, of Dupont, passed away on Friday, March 1, 2024, at her residence.

Born July 4, 1953, in Franklin, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Verla (Ricker) Vandivier. She married Leon Walls on February 18, 2000, in Brown County, Indiana; he survives.

Vicki was a 1971 graduate of Franklin Community School in Franklin and attended Vincennes University in Vincennes. She worked as the E911 coordinator for the Brown County Sheriff’s Department for 17 years before retiring in 2000. Vicki helped set-up the 911 system in Brown County. She was a current member of Dupont Baptist Church in Dupont and was a former member of the Harmony Baptist Church in Brownstown and of the Order of the Eastern Star in Providence. Vicki enjoyed being at home and crafts.

Surviving with her husband, Leon Walls of Dupont; is her son, Christopher Allen Leeds of Houston, Texas; foster children, Alexis and Joey Graham of Dupont; brothers, Brian (Christi) Vandivier of Franklin and Kyle (Cheryl) Vandivier of Morgantown; grandchildren, Cody Christopher Leeds, Kristin Nicole Leeds, Madelynn Leeds, Silus Graham, Brookelynn Graham, Elizibeth Graham and Paisley Graham.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, in the Baldwin Cemetery in Vernon. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Dove-Sharp &Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service in North Vernon.
