NORTON, VA.

Rodney was born in Spencer, In. May 15th 1923. His father David Penrose was a Baptist Minister.

He joined the Marines in WWII and was a Communications Specialist. After the war, He graduated from Yale with a degree in Electrical Engineering.

Rod has lived in many states around the US in his work for Military Contractors.

He has two children, Andrew Penrose 64, a Food and Beverage Director for Hilton Hotels and Loren Beha 59, a Hairstylist in Norton Va.

Rod moved to Virginia to be close to his daughter in 2020.

Rodney had two loving wives Ethel Penrose 87 years old and Nancy Goff 97 years old.

He was very blessed to reach this milestone of 100 years old before his passing. His kind demeanor and loving soul will be greatly missed by all his loving family and friends.

His burial service will be held at Knight Ridge Cemetery located at 3775 S. Knight Ridge road, Bloomington, In. 47401 on Saturday March 9, 2024 at 1:00pm
