Teresa Lynn Goodman, age 56, of Bloomington, passed away on Wednesday evening, March 14, 2024 at Majestic Care of Bedford. Born July 2, 1967 in Columbus, Indiana, she was the daughter of Dale Norman and Ethel Evelyn (Polly) Petro. Teresa worked as a secretary for Anderson Tree Company in Lafayette, Indiana. Her extreme love for animals led her to rescuing lots of shelter animals. She was a member of the White River Boat Club in Bedford and attended the Peerless Trinity Pentecostal Church.

Teresa is survived by her two sons, Timothy (Leanne) Winter, of Spencer, Indiana and Eric Goodman, of Bloomington; four brothers, Donald (Debra) Petro, Marvin Petro, Kenneth (Cindy) Petro, and Robert Petro, one sister, Brenda (Dennis) Wentworth and one grandson, Zane Winter.

Teresa was preceded in death by her parents, one sister-in-law, Pat Petro, her ex-husband, Brandon Goodman and a close family friend, Mike Boknecht.

There will be a Celebration of Life Funeral Service held on Thursday, March 21 at 11:00 a.m. at the Bond-Mitchell Funeral; 1682 State Rd. 135 North. Interment will be in Duncan Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be given to the White River Humane Association.
