Touch of Silver, Gold and Old owned by Carol and Albert Drake celebrates their 39 year of the annual benefit sale and food drive. This year they raised $1,630 for Riley Hospital and 60 boxes of canned goods for St. Vincent de Paul.

The benefit sale started as a way to get more people involved in the store while helping out the community. The Groovy Kind of Sale took place from Feb. 10 to March 11 with all in-store merchandise 25 percent off and an additional 5 percent with a monetary or non-perishable food donation.

Bob Oliger also gave an additional donation of $550 on behalf of St. Vincent de Paul. Brad Moritz the senior corporate gift officer for Riley Children’s Hospital accepted the donations as a representative of Riley Children’s Hospital.
