Many local offices will be closed on March 29 in Observance of Good Friday.

Good Friday is a Christian holiday that commemorates the crucifixion of Jesus. Although the date changes every year, the holiday falls on the Friday before Easter Sunday. Good Friday also ends the observed Holy Week and 40-day Lenten period.

Sorry kids, Brown County Schools will remain open on Good Friday. The United States Postal Service and local banks will also remain open on Friday.

But do not try to visit any local county or town offices on Friday. The Nashville Town Hall, Brown County Office Building, Brown County Circuit Court and Circuit Court Offices will all be closed.
