James Joseph Huff, 77, of Morgantown, Indiana, succumbed to his battle of cancer at home surrounded by family on May 2, 2024. Born May 16, 1946, in Logansport, Indiana, the son of the late Ova C. Huff and Mary L. (Pesaresi) Huff, Jim attended St. Vincent’s Catholic School and was a 1964 graduate of Logansport High School.

Jim was known by all as a dedicated family man, cherished within his family, finding great joy in spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great children, who were the cornerstones of his life.

A true entrepreneur, Jim owned and operated a commercial glazing company in Indianapolis. His expertise in the field of glazing was exceptional. Jim’s talent and business savvy allowed him to complete projects in Indiana, New Jersey, and Kentucky, most notably The Pyramids and Garfield Park. Jim owned several other industry related businesses, retiring in 2013 from commercial construction sales.

Jim was a sportsman, avid gun collector, and car enthusiast. He enjoyed spending time strengthening the bond within his family.

Jim is survived by his loving wife Gail (Moran); his sons Jason Huff, James Huff, and Lucas (Ashley) Huff; daughters Dana (Troy) Zimmerman, Melissa (Brad) Sommers, and Jennifer (Bryan) Kistler; his sister Connie (Don) Tribbett; former wife Connie Grace; preceded in death by his daughter Mindy (Huff) Singley; his fourteen beloved grandchildren Aaron, Ashley, Cody, Kayley, Morgan, Marcus, Jacob, Sarah, Berlyn, Lanee, Sawyer, Everly, Liam, and Noah and his fourteen beloved great grandchildren Peyton, Rylee, Ava, Connor, Austyn, Kaigen, Hady, Jordyn, Cooper, Mia, Isla, Georgia, Calvin, Ayden.

Mass of Christian Burial took place at St. Agnes Catholic Church, Nashville, Indiana on Monday, May 6th, at 11a.m. The family received friends one hour prior to mass at the church. Graveside services were held at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Logansport, Indiana, at 4p.m. of the same day.
