Hallee Miller, Kathleen McCann and Wyatt Wyman (pictured above) were the Golden Eagle Award-winners for the 2017-18 school year.

The Golden Eagle is the most prestigious award the athletic department presents. It goes to a senior male and female athlete chosen by a vote of the head coaches. Recipients must have earned at least a 2.75 grade-point average and a varsity letter in more than one sport, and exhibited qualities such as sportsmanship, leadership and a competitive spirit.

Recipients also receive the McGrayel-Russo Scholarship.

Miller ranks ninth in her class with a GPA of 4.053. She earned nine varsity letters in volleyball, basketball and tennis and was named to All-Conference teams in tennis and volleyball. Her leadership activities include National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, Science Honor Society and student council.

McCann ranks 10th in her class with a GPA of 3.824. She earned 10 varsity letters in soccer, basketball and track. She was named to All-Conference teams and qualified to compete in the IHSAA state tournament in track. Her leadership activities include student council and the St. Agnes youth group.

Wyman ranks 48th in his class with a GPA of 3.259. He has earned eight varsity letters in track and cross-county, was named to eight All-Conference teams and qualified to compete the IHSAA state tournament in track and cross-county. His leadership activities include the Nashville Christian Church youth group and Young Life.
