To the editor:
In my former line of work, one of the axioms that we had was that there are no coincidences. I say that as I have noted with bemusement that this week, the Brown County Music center changed its ticketing policy. This, after an article appeared in The Democrat covering the recent ticket sales for the Willie Nelson concert.
This recent change by the venue was in no small measure due to the exposure that The Democrat gave to this issue. While some can say that it was due to social media, I believe in no small measure it showed how important a weekly paper is to the community.
We are so lucky to have such an outstanding paper right in our midst. Brown County has much to be thankful for. Good schools, excellent first responders, and an outstanding newspaper. Keep up the good work.
