SPEARSVILLE — Hickory Ridge Civic League and Community Center, 2314 Hickory Ridge Lane, is open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursdays, with lunch at 11:30 a.m.

Thursday, Sept. 7: Senior meeting, cards, puzzles or walking track, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.; nurse’s visit, 10 to 11 a.m.; potluck, 11:30 a.m.
Thursday, Sept. 14: Lunch at Nazarene church. Bus leaves Hickory Ridge at 10 a.m.
Saturday, Sept. 16: Sausage gravy breakfast, 8 to 11 a.m. Menu includes biscuits, sausage gravy, fried potatoes, eggs, sausage links, pancakes and drink, $5 per adult, $3 per child 12 and younger. Garage sale in senior room, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Monday, Sept. 18: Hoosier Hills Food Bank pickup, 9 to 11 a.m.
Thursday, Sept. 21: Lunch at Christian church with a play afterward. Bus leaves Hickory Ridge at 10 a.m.
Monday, Sept. 25: Civic League meeting, 6 p.m.
Thursday, Sept. 28: Cards, puzzles or walking track, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.; potluck, 11:30 a.m.
