Eileen Lucille (Ginn) Nichols, 94, of Nashville, passed away Jan. 29, 2018, at Brown County Health & Living. She was born July 26, 1923, in Wabash, Indiana, to Gabriel and Lula (Wolverton) Ginn, who preceded her in death. She married Joseph R. Nichols, the light of her life, in 1946. He preceded her in death June 8, 2002.
She was a member of the Nashville Christian Church. She, as well as her husband, Joe, was employed at Delco Remy Division of General Motors Corp. in Anderson, Indiana, when at his retirement in 1970, they made their home in Brown County.
She enjoyed taking trips to Maine with her husband Joe, where they had property. She and Joe never missed a Sunday at church and she continued after his passing. She was a Sunday School teacher prior to moving to Brown County. She was a member of the Ladies Missionary Fellowship, Ladies Auxiliary, involved in Bible Study Fellowship and attended as well as hosted Small Group Studies in her home. Accompanied by friends, she enjoyed taking walks around the neighborhood.
She is survived by a godson, George Hoffman of Safety Harbor, Florida. Along with her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by her brother, William Ginn.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, Feb. 9 at 1 p.m. at Greenlawn Cemetery in Nashville, Indiana.
