Roseanna Zompetti

Roseanna “Ro” (Hutson) Zompetti, 71, passed away peacefully Tuesday evening, Oct. 23, 2018 at Monroe Hospital in Bloomington. She was a resident of Nashville.

Roseanna was born July 15, 1947, in Beech Grove, to the late George K. and Bohn Kathryn (Leedom) Hutson Sr. She was a 1965 graduate of North West High School and attended IUPUI.

Roseanna worked for many years as a secretary and administrative assistant for multiple companies. She will be remembered as a woman with many passions which included painting watercolors, writing and reading poetry, and listening to nature, which she called “God’s orchestra.” She was both a purchaser and seller of antiques and spent many weekends in search of good garage sales.

She is survived by her son, Joseph Perry; and nephew, Christopher H. Hutson.

Roseanna was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, John Leedom Hutson, George K. Hutson III; and her three four-legged canine companions, Sam, Max and Tre.

The Rev. Mary Cartwright will conduct a funeral service at 3 p.m. Friday, Nov. 2 at Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center, 179 E. Mulberry St., Morgantown. Friends may call from 1 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent in honor of Roseanna to the Brown County Humane Society, P.O. Box 746, Nashville, IN 47448.
