Brown County Schools will host its community Veterans Day program on Friday, Nov. 9 starting at 9:30 a.m. at the high school’s Larry C. Banks Memorial Gymnasium. Veteran Keith Baker will be the guest speaker. All are welcome to attend.
Veterans can gather at a social hour at 8:30 a.m. and at a luncheon after the program. Doors open to the public at 9 a.m.
All veterans are welcome to attend the program and be recognized, in addition to the widows of fallen veterans.

Banks’ ultimate sacrifice will be remembered.
A military salute will be performed by the Brown County High School band and high school and junior high choirs.
History Club members will make presentations, and winners of the Voice of Democracy and Patriot’s Pen essay contests will be announced.
