FT. MYERS BEACH, FLORIDA
Carmen Joan Hancock, 91, of Ft. Myers Beach, Florida, formerly of Muncie and Nashville, passed away Monday evening, March 18, 2019, at the Joanne House in Bonita Springs, FL.
Born Jan. 18, 1928 in Muncie, she was the daughter of Henry and Jeanne (Mueller) Vyain. Before retirement she worked in public relations for Merchants National Bank in Muncie. She was of the Catholic faith.
Carmen is survived by three daughters, Denise Loomis of Nashville, Debra Treinen of Vista, California, and Diane Baldridge of Ft. Myers Beach, FL; one son, Timothy Treinen; 20 grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Hancock; one daughter, Donna Sattler; and one granddaughter, Danielle Baldridge.
A graveside service will begin at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 30, in Greenlawn Cemetery, Nashville, where she will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband. Friends may visit the family from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday at Bond-Mitchell Funeral Home, 1682 State Road 135 North.
