Coach’s comments: The Brown County boys’ golf team posted a 179, matching its season low-score, and beat the Owen Valley Patriots Monday, April 29, at Salt Creek Golf Course. Shooting an even-par round of 36 and grabbing medalist honors was Brown County senior Parker VanNess. Curtis Lookebill 45, Cooper VanNess 46, and Peyton Proctor 52, scored for the Eagles to secure the win. The Eagles are scheduled to host Mitchell Wednesday, May 1 at 4:45 p.m. and then will be idle until Wednesday, May 8, when they entertain Hauser.
