Larry D. Hodge, age 69, of Nashville, died Friday morning, Aug. 2, 2019, at his residence.
Born July 17, 1950 in Bloomington, he was the son of William “Henry” and Lena (Hawkins) Hodge.
He is survived by his loving wife, Cheryl (Drew) Hodge, of Nashville; seven children, Gary Dale (Susan) Hodge of Bloomington, Jody Carol (Mark) Dayhuff of Spencer, Amanda Ann (John) Tullar of Bloomington, Kevin Lee (Amanda) Hodg of Ellettsville, Randy Wayne (Michelle) Hodge of Morgantown, Laura Lee Armes of Bloomington and Ryan Drew (Emily) Hodge of Columbus; four siblings, William Hodge of Ellettsville, Eddie Hodge of Martinsville, Donnie Hodge of Ellettsville and Aline Bonney of Bloomington; 14 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents and four siblings, Robert Hodge, Stella Robertson, Charles Hodge and Daphne Waldrip.
A memorial service will be at 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 10 at Day & Deremiah-Frye Funeral Home, 4150 E. Third St., Bloomington, with Philip “Bogie” Bogear officiating. Friends may visit the family on Saturday from 1 to 4 p.m. at the funeral home.
