Woman injured in two-vehicle crash on Three Story Hill

FRUITDALE — An 80-year-old Brown County woman was injured in a two-vehicle crash on Three Story Hill Road Oct. 12.

Sandra Ridenour was pulling out of a driveway in the 400 block of Three Story Hill Road to go west when the crash occurred, according to an accident report by Sgt. Scott Bowling with the Brown County Sheriff’s Department.

Bowling noted that there is a blind hill crest at the driveway’s location. Garrett Sevier, 18, of Greenwood, was driving east on Three Story Hill when he came over the hill crest and struck Ridenour’s vehicle on the left side, the report states.

Ridenour’s vehicle then rolled across the road into a driveway in the 500 block, where it struck a satellite dish.

Ridenour was taken by ambulance to a hospital for treatment of a hip/upper leg injury, the report states.

Sevier had no visible injuries.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
