Local board game conference scheduled in March

The Toy Chest will host BroCoCon, an adult- and family-friendly tabletop game conference, Friday through Sunday, March 27-29 at the Brown County Inn, 51 State Road 46 East.

BroCoCon is a game conference designed for players of all ages and experience levels. It offers a new way for both families and gamers to learn and play games in a non-intimidating environment.

“To us, games are today’s easiest form of connection. Everyone is engaged in the same set of rules, interacting and having fun,” said Hilary Key, Toy Chest owner. “In our first year, we saw more smiles, heard more laughter and witnessed more genuine connection than we ever could have imagined.”

BroCoCon 2020 will feature 50 to 100 tabletop games with demonstration and free play; hourly highlights and instruction of strategy and preschool games; and a 21+ game night with a cash bar and “game speed-dating,” in which you play a game for a short amount of time before moving on to the next game.

Tickets are available through Ticketbud or at the Toy Chest at $10 per adult, $5 per youth, and $10 for Adult Game Night.
