Mabel Followell, 95, of Nashville, IN passed away on Thursday, Jan. 14, 2021. She was born March 26, 1925 in Brown County, IN the daughter of the late Cora and Fred Mills.
Mabel married the late Chester Followell Feb. 22, 1941. She was very active in the community and enjoyed crafts, crocheting, quilting, gardening, cooking, canning, and spending time with her family and friends. She will be deeply missed.
Mabel is survived by her five daughters, Mary Lou (Phil) Pugsley, Beverly “Susie” Grilley, Angela Followell, Connie (Leroy) Cosby-McGath, and Bonnie Followell; her two sons, Wayne (Mary) Followell and Rick (Kay) Followell; 13 grandchildren; and many beloved great-grandchildren and other extended family members.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Chester Followell; and a great-granddaughter, Theory Baldwin.
Funeral services to celebrate her life will be held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2021 at Bond-Mitchell Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Duncan Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
