A 38-year-old Indianapolis man was taken to a hospital on July 4 after he crashed his motorcycle due to rocks on Greasy Creek Road.

Jon Ballenger was driving south when he lost control because of the rocks, according to an accident report by Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy Kyle Minor. Ballenger said he was able to gain control while nearing an embankment, but then lost control again, which caused him to fall, the report states.

He was taken to a hospital for treatment of a shoulder injury. His motorcycle was towed.

Ballenger was wearing a helmet, the report said.
