Patricia Ann (Teague) Burns

Patricia Ann (Teague) Burns, 88 of Morgantown, IN passed away Saturday, July 15, 2023 at her residence in Morgantown, IN.
She was born March 3, 1935, in Indianapolis, IN to William Austin Teague and Dorothy Lenore (Krause) Teague. She married John Harry Burns on May 21, 1955; he preceded her in death on September 19, 1992.
Patricia was a 1953 graduate of Helmsburg High School in Brown County, IN.
She had been a sales associate in the jewelry department for Kohl’s in Greenwood, retiring in 2018.
She was a member of the Nineveh Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star #466 where she had served as Worthy Matron, The Order of the White Shrine of Jerusalem Indianapolis #6 having served as Past Supreme Worthy High Priestess, Order of the Amaranth, Past Mother Advisor of the International Order of Rainbow Girls and a member of the Crossing Church in Nineveh.
She enjoyed playing cards, going to the casino, reading, and relaxing at the beach. She was an avid sports fan of the Indiana Pacers, IU basketball, NASCAR and recently Dirt Late Model Racing. Patricia especially enjoyed supporting her grandchildren in all their endeavors, playing games on her tablet, watching the Game Show Network, having luncheons with her friends, classmates and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her son Todd Burns (Vickie) of Morgantown, IN, her daughter Tori Kelly (Tim) of Morgantown, IN, her grandchildren Megan Snepp (Michael) of Franklin, IN, Austin Burns of Trafalgar, IN, Brittni Gray (Scott) of Carmel, IN, Ryan Kelly (Parissa) of Indianapolis, IN, Kylee Hamilton of Lexington, KY, Korbin Hamilton of Morgantown, IN, Brayten Kelly of Morgantown, IN, her great-grandchildren Grayson Snepp, Madison Snepp, Scarlett Gray, Willow Gray, Isla Gray, Aideyn Hamilton, Liam Hamilton and Zayne Hamilton, a brother Jim Teague (Carol) of Greenwood, IN and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband John Harry Burns, her parents William Austin Teague and Dorothy Lenore (Krause) Teague, siblings Mary Grace Russ, William Richard Teague, Edna Dee Fritch, Donald “Bud” Teague.
Pastor Jon Lucas will conduct a service on Friday July 21, 2023, at 10:30 AM at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN and will be live-streamed at www.swartzmortuary.com. Friends may call Thursday, July 20, 2023, from 4PM until 8PM at the mortuary where the Nineveh Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star will conduct an O.E.S. service at 7:45PM with a service by the White Shrine of Jerusalem Indianapolis to follow.
Burial will follow the service at East Hill Cemetery in Morgantown, IN.
