Dorothy B. Hash, 97, of Columbus, passed from this life at 10:20 p.m. Monday, March 23, 2015, at Brown County Health & Living Community in Nashville.

A homemaker, Mrs. Hash was a member of Sixth Street General Baptist Church.

The funeral service was conducted March 27 at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home in Columbus, with the Rev. Kenneth Lee officiating. Family and friends called March 26 and 27. Burial was at Flat Rock Baptist Cemetery.

Born in Greene County, March 21, 1918, Mrs. Hash was daughter of Elzie and Frona Frazier Gibson. She married Jack L. Hash on June 25, 1966. He preceded her in death July 21, 2011.

Survivors include a daughter, Connie Bay of Columbus; sons, Richard Collins and John Collins, both of Brown County, and Larry Collins of Columbus; nine grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Hash was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
