The new disc golf course at Deer Run Park will have its official grand opening from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 16.

Players of all experience levels and ages are welcome.

Disc golf is like a game of golf using Frisbees, thrown shorter distances than a golf ball is hit.

Prizes will be awarded to the top scores in each division. Brown County Parks and Recreation will sell food and drinks.

Dynamic Discs will bring a “mobile pro shop” to the tournament. Discs will be sold for $20 for two.

This is the first tournament to be played at the course at the county-owned park. Construction started last fall.
