Morris Wayne Bridgewater, 68, of Kent, Ohio, died Tuesday, May 17, 2016, at his home.

Born Sept. 23, 1947, in Jeffersonville, Indiana, to Morris and Odessa (Inman) Bridgewater, Morris was a graduate of Greenfield High School.

He retired from Chrysler Corp. in Twinsburg after 39 years of service. Morris was a member of Bean Blossom Mennonite Church in Morgantown, and Portage County Field and Stream Club. He loved hunting and fishing.

His greatest joys in life were the Lord, his family, his friends, and his little dogs.

He is survived by his wife, Jacky (Andrews) Bridgewater, whom he married June 19, 1967; son, Kevin Bridgewater of Kent; daughters, Erin (Brian) Lane of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Beverly (Milo) Mills of West Lafayette; grandchildren, Khrystian and Katie Bridgewater of Kent and Brynne, Paul, Ria and Victoria Mills of West Lafayette; and sisters, Gloria (Eugene) Bainter of Greenfield and Nina (Jerry) Pendlum of Athens, Alabama.

Private family services are planned.
