Brown County Area Plan Commission — 6 p.m., Salmon Room, County Office Building, 201 Locust Lane. Agenda includes Ryan Seward requesting a rezone of Brozinni’s at 140 W. Main St. from RB to B1; and consideration of county commissioners’ modifications to the revised floodplain ordinance as recommended by the APC. A work session on the zoning ordinance revision will immediately follow this meeting, to discuss the definition of private recreational development and what’s next.

Wednesday, Oct. 26

Brown County Election Board 11 a.m., Salmon Room, County Office Building, for review of candidate finance forms and poll worker training.

Brown County Parks & Recreation Board — 5:15 p.m., parks and rec office, 1001 Deer Run Lane.

Brown County Board of Zoning Appeals — 6 p.m., Salmon Room, County Office Building. Agenda includes Kim Robinson requesting a variance to allow an off-premises sign for the YMCA at 30 Hawthorne Drive; Robert Duncan requesting a rear setback variance at 7094 Muskrat Drive in Hamblen Township; Mary Marcotte requesting a special exception for a tourist home at 1663 Clay Lick Road in Washington Township; and Tricia Dishman, agent for Voland Hammond Property at 2450 State Road 46 East in Washington Township, requesting an appeal of a decision made by the director of the Brown County Area Plan Commission to issue a notice of determination of substantial damage improvement for buildings B and E.
