We all want to keep our community looking attractive. It is especially important in our beautiful county when thousands of tourists flock to our rolling hills every year and our economy is dependent on tourism for its livelihood.
Keep Brown County Beautiful is a group of environmentally minded citizens who believe people and places are profoundly interconnected. We believe that positive change happens when volunteers work together toward that change.
Mark your calendar and join us April 22 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for the Great American Clean Up! We will be on the Village Green at the Pavilion, where we will have tasks for groups and individuals.
Register beginning at 9 a.m. and you might be picking up litter, planting, preparing flower beds, painting curbs or other assigned jobs (which could be subject to change).
As an affiliate of Keep America Beautiful, we work with businesses, groups, residents and others to educate and work toward more recycling and less litter on our roads and streets and along our creeks. Our goal is to work for a positive change with a lasting impact on Brown County.
Our projects will focus on reducing litter, recycling, beautification and education. Our objective is to improve the quality of life for all who visit and live here.
