Patricia Doreen (Whitaker) Ellis, 90, Morgantown, died Friday morning, April 28, 2017 at Indiana Masonic Home in Franklin.

Doreen is survived by her son, Larry (Sara) Johnston of Morgantown; brother, Judson Whitaker of West Palm Beach, Florida; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard “Dick” Ellis.

The Rev. Ed Tharpe was to conduct a graveside service at 11 a.m. Monday, May 1, in East Hill Cemetery, Morgantown. Funeral services were with Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center in Morgantown.
