Letters: BETA organization thankful to community for donations

To the editor:

BETA (Brown County Enrichment for Teens Association Inc.) would like to sincerely thank the Brown County Lions Club for their generous donation of $700 for BETA’s Library Project. Our volunteers and teens are so excited to have our own library and our own books.

We also would like to thank Shirely Boardman, president of Brown County Community Foundation Board, for donating two studs of $100 for the project of Habitat for Humanity so that BETA teens can become involved with this wonderful community project.

We also would like to thank Betsy Lease, president of Fabulous 50 Women, for donating her beautiful couches for BETA center.

BETA is so blessed with all these wonderful organizations and their great leaders to care about us. Thank you again!

Pam Boer and Emmy Blackwell, BETA volunteers
