An Indianapolis man faces three drunken driving misdemeanor charges after he was pulled over for driving left of center on State Road 46 in April.

Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy Andrew Eggebrecht stopped Mark T. Wach, 49, at around 11 p.m. in the 5500 block of State Road 46. Eggebrecht reported smelling alcohol on Wach, that his speech was slow, his eyes were bloodshot, his manual dexterity was poor and his balance was unsteady.

A breath test showed his blood-alcohol content to be 0.17, more than twice the legal limit of 0.08. A chemical test administered at the jail about an hour later showed a BAC of 0.148, the police report said.
