IMG_9309Kenneth Ray “Kenny” Harden, 75, passed away Friday, July 7, 2017 at I.U. Health Hospital in Bloomington. He was a lifelong resident of Brown County.

Kenny was born Oct. 17, 1941, in Nashville, to the late Raymond and Gladys (Petro) Harden. He married Ruth (Stogsdill) Harden in 1962 in Bloomington.

Kenny was a stone mason and owner and operator of Harden Stone Company. He was a very active member of Green Valley Pentecostal Church in Nashville. In 1995, Kenny became an ordained minister.

He will be missed by his wife, Ruth Harden of Ft. Myers, Florida; daughter, Tana (Tony) Collins; and son, Tony (Christina) Harden, both of Nashville; grandchildren, Christony (Brian) Parrish, Amber (Jay) Pedro, Whitney (Willy) Burris, Jeff (Alexis) Lambe, Ashley Harden, Kole (Courtney) Kleve, Tyler Harden, Trenton Harden, Jesika Harden, Dawson Harden; 13 great-grandchildren and one on-the-way; and siblings, Larry (Susan) Harden of Columbus, Georgia, Alvey (Dottie) Harden of Trenton, Georgia, Steve Harden and Carol Sue Becraft, both of Nashville.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Gladys and Raymond; son, Troy Harden; and siblings, Joanne Hobbs, Rachel Jane Fox, William “Bill” Harden and Jeri Harden.

The Rev. Paul Hardin will conduct a funeral service at 4 p.m. Tuesday, July 11 at Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center, 179 E. Mulberry St. in Morgantown. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. Tuesday prior to the service at the funeral home.
