A Nashville teen has been charged with a misdemeanor for possessing marijuana after his parents called police about him using marijuana at their home.

According to a probable cause affidavit by Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy Andrew Eggebrecht, Joseph Quinonez Romarico Ponce, 19, voluntarily handed over marijuana from his pocket on Dec. 10. Eggebrecht reported that Ponce had less than 30 grams.

He was charged with a Class B misdemeanor on Dec. 11.
