To the editor:
This is to all who contributed to the success of On the Road Again 2018. Without each of you, this annual event couldn’t possibly happen. With over a hundred volunteers from our community, across our state, and even neighboring states (and spanning across generations), members of the Brown County High School football and girls volleyball teams, donors of clothing, sorters, packers, menders, members of Brown County Schools, truck drivers, movers and your monetary contributions, we managed to open the doors. You are all busy people, dividing yourselves among family, work, church, reunions, vacations and dealing with your own personal responsibilities. You provided much more than items for school. Thank you for sharing not only your time, but your love and tender hearts with our most precious commodity, our children.
There is a lot more to the one-day event than meets the eye. The God’s Grace team is in the middle of putting things away, and the preparations for 2019 have begun.
