Letter: Support community band, Habitat for Humanity

To the editor:

Bring your sunburned nose and tired feet to the Brown County Community Band concert to benefit Brown County Habitat for Humanity, Saturday, May 4 at 7:30 p.m.

You’ll be exhausted from the Spring Blossom Parade and the rest of your busy day, so come and relax in a comfy chair at the high school auditorium and enjoy Conductor Shawn Bentz and the band’s delightful program of American music.

Tickets are really cheap and the money all goes to help Habitat help families. We’ll have cookies and lemonade too, and three delightful cakes from Ooey Gooey Cinnamon Rolls. And music — did we mention how good this band is? And it’s made up of your neighbors, high school students and other fine folks from the area. They are talented and enthusiastic and love to play music for you and for Habitat.

Please come; it’ll be a musical treat for your feet and your seat!
