Letter: Participate in Dumpster Days later this month

To the editor:

Keep Brown County Beautiful is sponsoring our first ever free Dumpster Days! This is in conjunction with the Recycle Center and being paid for with a grant from Cummins Engine. We will have two locations: One at the back of the Recycle Center and the other at the west entrance to Cordry-Sweetwater lakes at Sweetwater Drive.

This unique event is happening on Friday and Saturday, June 14 and 15. It will give our community the chance to clean up and beautify their homes and properties. Let’s take pride in our community. Keep Brown County Beautiful works side by side with the Recycle Center to find ways to keep our roads and county clean. This is your chance to do your part to bring in things you don’t know what to do with and bring them to Dumpster Days.

Restrictions do apply. There will be no tires, no paint and no hazardous material. A separate bin for TV sets, computer screens and electronics will be available.

Keep Brown County Beautiful hopes everyone will follow the rules so we can offer this opportunity to keep our county clean again in the future.

Happy spring cleaning. Let’s all Keep Brown County Beautiful!
