Rotary Club

The Brown County Rotary Club will meet at 7:15 a.m. Thursday, July 25 at Nashville’s Artists Colony Inn, 105 S. Van Buren St.

Stephanie Hunt will be the guest speaker, reporting on her experiences spending the academic year that just ended in the Rotary Student Exchange Program at the Twents Carmel College Lyceumstraat in the Netherlands. She will talk about how these experiences have shaped her career and life plans.

Hunt and her family — including 10 siblings — live in Brown County. She was home schooled, completing all the requirements for Indiana high school graduation. Her three older siblings have all spent a year abroad in the Rotary Student Exchange Program — in Chile, Germany and Peru, respectively.

Hunt participated in two Rotary Youth Leadership Awards programs, the second by invitation for more advanced leadership training.

The Rotary Club of Brown County will begin accepting applications from Brown County students this September for the 2020-21 Rotary Student Exchange Program.
