Mr. and Mrs. Gary Fender of Bloomington celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary with family on a road trip to South Dakota to see Mount Rushmore.
They were married June 22, 1974, at Green Valley Apostolic Church in Brown County. The late Reverend Clarence Hardin officiated.
Formerly Monica Shipley, Mrs. Fender is a homemaker.
Mr. Fender retired from General Interiors (Painters Local 47).
Their children are Christie (Timothy) Spurlock and Gary (G.J.) Fender II. Their grandchildren are Jesika, Emilee and Samantha.
