James M. Henderson, age 69 died peacefully in his home in Port St. Lucie, Florida on Saturday, Aug. 3 surrounded by his family. James was born Jan. 22,1950 in Johnson County, Indiana to the late William and Edith Henderson. He attended Brown County, Indiana schools, graduating from Brown County High School in 1968.

James was an avid Sportsman, and lived for many years in Lake Worth and Lake Okeechobee, Florida, where he was able to enjoy bass fishing and being outdoors.

James is survived by his Daughter, Jenny (Jason) Slinker, of Port St. Lucie, Florida, Granddaughter Alexis Harper, Grandson Noah Slinker, and Great Grandson Aiden. He is also survived by his Siblings; Richard (Brenda, deceased) Henderson and Robert (Candace) Henderson, Marian (Donald) Altop, Barbara (Sam) Vasquez, and Rebecca (Charles) Patton, and six nieces and nephews.
