Wilma Jean Crowley, 85, passed away peacefully Aug. 30, 2019.

She was born on May 28, 1934, in Shelbyville, IN to Glen and Loretta Kehrt. Wilma graduated from Moral High School in 1952. She married Richard Crowley on Sept. 5, 1953. They had one son, Jonathan, who preceded her in death in 2015.

She had a career as church secretary and musician for churches in Shelbyville, Columbus, Nineveh and Brown County. She was the receptionist for the Brown County Chamber of Commerce. She owned “Crowley Crafts” business that supplied pressed flower crafts to shops in the Nashville, IN area. Wilma enjoyed raising most of the flowers for her business.

Friends may call on Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2019 from noon until time of service at 2 p.m. in Bond-Mitchell Funeral Home, 1682 State Road 135 North, Nashville, IN 47448. The service will be officiated by Pastor Ronald M. Green. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery.
