On behalf of Access Brown County, the advisory committee would like to thank our local churches and community for making Access Sunday a success.
We would like to thank Parkview Church of the Nazarene, St. Agnes Catholic Church, Cottonwood Christian Church, St. David’s Episcopal Church, Nashville United Methodist Church and individuals who donated. We got close to our goal of $5,000. All donations are matched by the Indiana Department of Transportation.
Access Brown County continues to grow. We are right to the point of keeping three vehicles on the road five days a week. Our services take riders to where they need to go in Brown County, as well to Monroe and Bartholomew counties.
Here are stats as of August 2019:

5,205 gallons of gas
2,515 rides to work
563 rides to medical appointments
342 rides to errands
1,041 rides for other reasons
1,006 rides to Developmental Services Inc./Stone Belt
2,027 rides for senior citizens
Dispatch hours are 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Please call to schedule your ride today at 812-988-0185. Rides are $5 one way in county and $7.50 one way for out of county. Anyone 60 or over may ride for free.
We thank the community for the ongoing support, we are here to fill the public transportation needs of Brown County.
