The program emphasizes core skill development for students in the first through fourth grades. The USA Wrestling seven base skills — position, motion, level change, clearing, lifting, back step and arch and turn — will be followed.

Practices will take place on Tuesdays from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Larry C. Banks Memorial Gymnasium wrestling room. Parental assistance is requested.

The fee is $30 per student and includes a Brown County Wrestling T-shirt. The deadline to register is Friday, Oct. 25. Register at the parks and rec office, 1001 Deer Run Lane, or online at bcparksrec.com.

The entry fee is $25 on the day of the race (registration from 10 to 11:30 a.m.) or $22 in advance.
